Wheaton, IL is a village in the state of Illinois located about 25 miles west of Chicago’s ‘loop’. As of the 2010 census 53,500 people lived within the city limits.

Wheaton was founded in a time period between 1831 and 1837 following the Indian Removal Act.  The Wheaton brothers arrived from Connecticut, and in 1837, Warren claimed 640 acres of land in the center of town.
