On Wednesday December 3rd, eBizUniverse hosted a LinkedIn training session for members of the Schiele Group to learn and use LinkedIn’s features to create new sales leads.
The conference was intended to educate Schiele Group members about the benefits of LinkedIn – connecting with professionals across the United States to build a virtual social media network and how to create sales leads from new connections. Many of the participants had heard of the platform, but lacked time or computer skills to use the service – until now.
Similar to Facebook, LinkedIn is a social network connecting business professionals across all forms of profession. The platform allows both those connected and those not connected to collaborate via e-mail (some form of verification may be required). Job seekers may also post their resume and cover letter, follow companies, save jobs, congratulate each other for a new job/position, and more.
By the end of the training session, all of Schiele’s members were more comfortable using the platform and planned to continue its use for later use. Click here to see another LinkedIn training video.
