Bolingbrook, IL is a suburb of Chicago located about 32 miles northwest of the Chicago “loop”. As of the 2010 census 73,366 people lived in Bolingbrook.

The first settlement in what is now Bolingbrook was established in 1831, but was not incorporated until 1965.  The tiny Boardman Cemetery, in what is now the Heritage Creek subdivision, contains the remains of some of these earliest residents from the 1800’s.  In 1970 the Bolingbrook Park District was founded and the village has its own airport where a WGN-TV helicopter is stationed.
